The Rotary Club of Jávea organizes this Sunday 20 of October the V March Against Polio de Xàbia, an event that is part of the set of activities organized to contribute to the eradication of this disease.
The march starts from the Duanes Maritime promenade at 10 hours and will reach the tennis player's promenade David Ferrer in the Arenal Beach. It is a solidarity protest march, in which an inscription of 5 euros is provided, which is entirely allocated to the International Rotary Foundation's program to end polio, a disease that Rotary has been fighting for several decades. The inscription includes a Rotary cap as well as a bottle of water.

Alongside this march, the Rotary Club of Javea has organized a talk on Tuesday, October 22 in the Carrasco salons, by the club member, Luis Santos, who will deepen the current situation of polio in the world and the difficulties that have caused the rebound of cases in the last two years. In addition, another of the activities was the opening this Saturday of the exhibition Birds to the Sea, with snapshots provided by the photographer Fili Navarrete, who will be at the Club Nautico de Javea until the November 10. The sale of these photographs will also go to the polio eradication program.
