The PSOE of Xàbia presents his candidacy in the 10 years of the Casa del Poble

The PSOV-PSOE of Xàbia has made public, on Sunday morning, its candidacy for the upcoming municipal elections taking advantage of the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Casa del Poble.

Before around 300 people, Pepa Gisbert, as presenter of the act, invited all the neighbors to approach the House of Poble, "Because as the name implies is everyone's home, you don't have to belong to the party for the citizens to come closer".

Gisbert has given way to the intervention of the Minister of Science and Innovation, Pedro Duque, who has highlighted the great ideas that the "Base policy. Citizens are the ones who provide ideas for them to be launched from the government. Spain is at a critical moment, but you have to value the work that all citizens do. The merit is yours for the daily struggle you do" . In addition, the Minister of Science has claimed a government "With common sense and focused on the real problems of citizenship".

Subsequently, through a presentation video, it was announced, one by one, the 21 candidates that make up the PSOE list of Xàbia ahead of the municipal elections of 2019.

With the motto, "The Xàbia that you estimate", the number 1 of the candidacy, José Chulvi, has stated the work done during this term, "We have fought so that Xàbia has what it deserves." Chulvi has pointed out that each legislature is a work of continuity, "The projects started must be finished, the needs must be continued and therefore not paralyzed". With these words, José Chulvi It made reference to the impediments found in the last months before the works of the Auditorium and the Puente de Triana, "works in which the winning companies tried to get more money for them but found that we did not yield. I prefer to explain it a thousand times to take advantage of Xàbia and its neighbors."

The number 1 of the socialist list for the mayor of Xàbia made mention also to the project of the swimming pool, "A work paralyzed for 14 years ago and that thanks to the socialist government we have obtained 1,5 millions of the Generalitat, as it was determined, to start it. 14 years of a promise and demand of the people that for other governments had been forgotten" .

This act of presenting candidacy has had the presence of deputies, former mayors of towns in Alicante and candidates.
