Although the World Bicycle Day celebrates the 19 of April, the school Trenc d'Alba de Xàbia has advanced its celebration by making a Bicicletada in which the students of second and third grade of primary school have participated with teachers and accompanied by Local Police and Red Cross Jávea.
In order to promote the use of this means of transport and highlight its health benefits and sustainable mobility, students made a tour of the different roads and urban roads, where they circulated in the bike lane, until reaching Caleta and visiting the Arenal Beach.
Among the main objectives of the center with the implementation of this activity are combining physical activity with social, cultural and natural as it promotes a way of traveling respectful of the environment.
This school trip will be repeated next May as the closing ceremony of the Road Safety classes that students receive throughout the course.
