The most historic bar in Benitatxell returns to open the doors with the traditional and homemade cuisine of the region

19 June 2018 - 00: 20

The old Bar Macià comes alive again when the doors open Ca Toni Monica by the businessman Poblero Toni Colomer. This new establishment will offer its customers the traditional tapas and their typical homemade cuisine from the region.

Sepia cassoleta, Fetge amb ceba, mushrooms, blood, lean with tomato, polp guisat y polp torrat. But it will also have an extensive menu of tapas such as cocas de dacsa, the balls of pot, the figatells, the croquettes of puchero, the meatballs and bravas among others.

In addition, every Friday, the genuine poblero puchero will be served and, if requested in advance, accompanied by the ball dolça.

This restaurant is the oldest in El Poble Nou de Benitatxell and one of those traditional bars in which the essence has been maintained with the new opening. "Perhaps it is a nostalgic and sentimental but a bar with so much intrahistory poblera through which so many generations of neighbors of our town and the region have never had to close. It is true that we must adapt to the new times with a greater Professionalization and broadening the profile of clientele but without lowering our guard and maintaining the authenticity of the usual bars. And in that very exciting challenge we are, "explained its manager, Toni Colomer.
