Cs Xàbia asks the City Council to demand responsibility for the non-vegetable waste that has burned in Ramblars

04 March 2022 - 17: 42

At the plenary session held in Javea Town Hall of the month of February, the spokesperson for Cs Xàbia, Enrique Escrivá, has asked the local government to clarify why the Ramblars transfer plant was not closed to the public, enabling an alternative space from the beginning, because "to date, there is no technical report that
justifies not closing Ramblars, and above all because, if in the previous fire in 2016 Ramblas was closed almost immediately, it makes no sense for it not to be closed this time, given the risk that the fire could spread to other areas where that residues were accumulated that did not burn”.

The Cs spokesman has asked the local government for transparency on how it has acted at all times, in the face of a fire that has caused a lot of inconvenience, concern and uncertainty in our neighbors, especially "because we went from the local government telling us that we were facing to a 'slow burning' fire, without us having
seen no report proving this, to the firefighters suddenly saying that Ramblas had to be closed to the public and act by attacking the fire 'dismantling' it until it was extinguished”.

For this reason, Escrivá has asked the local government for explanations as to why a report from the technicians was not requested from the beginning to endorse or rule out the closure of Ramblars and the dismantling of the fire since it occurred, "because in the end, in Xàbia we have suffered a fire that has affected us all for three months, but instead when it has acted attacking the fire it has taken just over twenty days to extinguish it.

In addition to clarifying these issues, the mayor of Xabiero has asked the local government to act against possible breaches of the company that forcibly manages the green transfer plant, "since
no one is unaware that in addition to plant remains, other types of waste have come to burn in Ramblars, so the local government cannot look the other way”, because despite the fact that the service that has been provided in Ramblars has been of mandatory nature, "there are some minimum security and prevention that the company must guarantee and whose compliance corresponds to the City Council to demand".

So, given the seriousness of a fire like this and given the possible breaches that may exist, Escrivá has pointed out that "the local government must investigate, demand and purge responsibilities from those who have breached their obligations in Ramblars, since the seriousness of a fire like this we cannot add that responsibilities are not demanded and those who have failed to comply are not sanctioned ”.

The spokesman xabiero, has thanked the involvement of all the troops, the technicians and the collaboration of all the professionals who have been involved to fight the fire until it is extinguished. Likewise, the mayor has referred to the immediate future of the transfer plant, pointing out that "after this fire the local government cannot go back to making a clean slate with the management of Ramblars, since the fire has made clear the lack of investment in improvements for prevention in case of fire in a green transfer plant that has suffered three fires in ten years”.

So from Cs Xàbia we hope that the protection and prevention strategies and measures that are established for the future, "such as a powerful network of hydrants adapted to the needs of the plant, or thermal sensors that quickly detect any outbreak of fire, are carried out as soon as possible in a consensual manner with all the parties of the Xabiera Corporation”.

They use the misinformation of citizens.
This is a City Council that: does not have a station or a municipal bulletin where the different parties can inform and the citizens can follow the day to day; just a website to collect all the announcements that the mayor wants to advertise…nothing that is difficult, problematic, unresolved.
And the PSOE of Jávea: never a statement, never an informative meeting in the neighborhoods. Do you care what PARTICIPATION means?
Chulvio is not interested in that; but he always has time for a photo here, a silly visit there, little speeches with empty words, to look good with the partygoers, with the Church, with the catering interests, with their bosses in Valencia.
Poor Jávea, and I am not an anti-socialist; I admire the work of the PSOE in Dénia, in Gandia, in Mislata, in Cullera… Poor Jávea.

Every story will end in nothing
Nothing will happen to the irresponsible people who allow irregularities, because they are politicians and everything is protected for them, immune.
We eat the consequence of having totally incompetent people in the town hall with potatoes.
There is a government team that among all of them has a hard time making the O with a joint.
We can not impossible, we have those who voted, people who do not know, well they do know how to do one thing:
    CHARGE EVERY MONTH, plus diets.

They know perfectly well what has happened, that they stop writing complaint letters and go directly to denounce that for that they are the opposition but they do not denounce no….
