Compromís per Xàbia has joined the campaign launched by the Platform for Public Health of the Marina Alta and has announced the filing of a motion to request that the health management of the Marina Alta (13 area) be public again, thereby rescinding the contract with Marina Salud, the current management company.
Both the motion and the campaign carried out by the platform is alleged «the bad practices of the company, in terms of cuts in quality and services» and therefore they require finalize the agreement with the company and return to public health management.
In a statement, announced that Compromís per Xàbia «the hours of waiting in the emergency room, the elimination of
healthcare services in several towns, the lack of professional ethics by not referring patients to the Crónico de la Pedrera Hospital, the company's failure to comply with the conditions, as well as the cut in professional staff, leave the Marina region "Discharged in a very precarious situation in terms of health services."
