Ciudadanos Xàbia criticizes the improvisation of the department of services in the preparation of the cleaning and garbage collection contract. The spokesperson for the political formation, Enrique Escrivá, has described "disappointing" the answer offered by the councilor for services, Kika Mata, to the question about the status of the cleaning and garbage collection contract that he issued a few weeks ago.
The mayor has indicated that “We hoped they could clarify what steps they will take from the Department of Services, to arrive on time and have a new service in November, but they have missed the opportunity to explain why, after 8 years ahead, they have not started before to process the new specifications of the contract for cleaning and garbage collection ”.
The councilor added that “We could already have a better cleaning service and we would have avoided having to extend a service that does not work. After two Chulvi legislatures, they cannot just throw balls out and deny that Xàbia is dirty ”.
Finally, Escrivá has indicated that "Nor have they assured us of a specific date when the new contract is ready and also, the fact that they have not even published the previous consultation of the specifications, which they should already have prepared, indicates that once again, they will not reach time and the harmed we will be the javienses ”.
