The spokesperson for Ciudadanos Xàbia, Enrique Escrivá, demanded from the government team, in the plenary session last Monday, a Shock Plan against the "state of abandonment" in which some parks of Xàbia are located that allow to repair, modernize and condition the parks and children's areas.
Escrivá mentioned that the recently announced contract by the Town hall to remodel the parks is for the Reina Sofía de Thiviers park and the one in the Xàtiva square in the Frechinal, "and the tasks of repair, care and modernization have to extend to all our parks, since today, parks such as the one on Genoa street remain without light and without swings, or directly deserted like the Arenal park", requested the mayor of the orange formation.
Likewise, Enrique Escrivá clarified that, in his opinion, remodeling in all parks should be undertaken with the utmost urgency "Since some have been in poor condition for many years".
