Three months ago the bus station was inaugurated and for January 2014 it is planned to close the facilities due to lack of users. From the transportation department of the Town hall de Jávea have decided to sell the facilities and for the buses to stop where they have always done, in the "olive grove at the entrance to Jávea". This decision, from which there seems to be no going back, has been made this week in various meetings of all the members of the corporation who have agreed to sell the facilities since the money would be very useful for the Consistory for other projects.
Sources from Javea City Council have revealed to us that the bus stop was not as necessary as it seemed and that people will use it the same whether they leave from the "olivera" or if they do it from the new stop. This project, which was voted on in participatory budgets and that was delayed for a few months, has not finished convincing the municipal corporation who are convinced that the money taken from the sale of the facilities will be much more profitable for other projects.
