On the morning of this Friday it took place, in the Town hall of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, the first meeting of the technical commission to elaborate the special plan that will regulate the antennas of Puig Llorença. Chaired by the mayor of the town, Josep Femenia, the Councilor for the Environment, Manolo Segarra, the councilor of Fiestas, Nathalie Coning, the municipal secretary, Jesus Castro, Alberto Morera, architect drafter of the general plan, Vicent Soler, lawyer, Vicente Tous, municipal planner and Fernando Mengual, engineer in Telecommunications. The councilors of the opposition, Compromís, IMA and Toni Colomer have not attended although they were also called.
One of the first conclusions of the meeting was to mark some lines aimed at regularizing public and private activities within the municipal competence, since most of these occupations date back to the 80 years.
The presence of an architect draftsman is due to the importance, as they have indicated from the town hall, of resolving the conflicts of urban planning of the antennas of the hand of the structural plan. And, despite the fact that the consistory does not have competence in terms of frequency assignment, it can safeguard its natural and scenic values with a special plan that will be drafted in parallel to the structural plan for urban planning.
Femenía has shown that "We started the way to regularize the antennas of the Puig de la Llorença. No government team had faced up to now the historical problems of usurpations, occupations and the necessary preservation of an enclave of great natural and landscape value. None. This commission is going to allow to know in depth the urban and environmental reality of the top of the Puig de la Llorença.That is where we can act.And we are going to do it.And, of course, we are the first interested in having the competent body of the Generalitat Valenciana solve the conflicts of use of the radioelectric space ".
