Benitatxell bets again on tourist routes: The 'Sunset between vineyards'

30 July 2018 - 15: 41

The Poble Nou de Benitatxell bets again for tourism experiential with the tourist routes of Sunset Vineyard. A unique combination of vineyards and local tapas of the municipality in which the tourist knows, closely, part of the culture of the area: The agricultural landscape, the process of cultivation and harvesting of the Muscat grape.

"The visitor will walk through the fields of vineyards overlooking the Mediterranean and enjoy an authentic experience with a sunset while collecting his own muscat grape". This is the message that El Poble Nou de Benitatxell transmits with the routes that are offered in August and September.

Farmers themselves will teach the techniques and traditions of Muscat cultivation in the open field. "The hikers will be able to cut each cluster that they wish to savor and they will taste a selection of native, salty and sweet products, while they contemplate the twilight", added the coordinator of BioMoscatell, Josep Manuel Bisetto.

The routes will be in Spanish and English, have a price of 39 euros and will be made with dates to be specified from six thirty in the afternoon until nine in the evening. According to the Councilor for Tourism, Agriculture and Economic Development, Manolo Segarra, "we want the visitor to know the philosophy of the BioMoscatell project, who knows that these formerly abandoned fields are now active again thanks to the regeneration drive in the agricultural sector that has led to the creation of Moraig wine and Moscatell grape juice ".

For reservations, the 615398238 - 966493546 phone number and the web address: info@biomoscatell.org have been made available to the public.
