A third extension of the contract for the road and trash cleaning company has been approved

One more year, the plenary of Xàbia has approved an extension of the municipal road cleaning and waste collection service to the company Cespa, the current winner, for not having finalized the specifications for the new tender for this service, an issue that caused debate in the plenary session, when considering the opposition, "That this situation was due to a lack of planning."

This third extension was carried out with the votes in favor of the PSOE (government team) and Citizens for Jávea and had the abstention of PP, Compromís and Ciudadanos). A renewal that initially was not contemplated in the initial contract, 10 years ago, since it only referred to two, but that due to the need for this service in the municipality, the extension of the contract has been carried out until the contract is awarded new contract or for a maximum period of one year.

Faced with criticism from the opposition for not having the specifications finalized, the mayor Kika Mata, stepped out explaining that "He has not been forgotten for a minute, if it was up to me to have come until at night.
