Amjasa will distribute the new glass bottles on 24, 25 and 30 days in November

November 15 from 2018 - 14: 28

To encourage consumption of tap water, Amjasa launches a new campaign in which it will distribute a total of 2000 glass bottles labeled with the image of Xàbia to citizens who come to your stand and make a symbolic gesture of recycling.

The actions will be carried out in the three urban centers of Xàbia during the next weekends. The 24 day, the appointment will be at the Paseo de La Grava, at the port at 16 hours, on Sunday 25, at 11 hours, it will be on the Paseo David Ferrer del Arenal and Friday 30 the location will be in the town, in Plaza Constitución starting at 11: 30 hours.

With these actions the progrifo campaign is activated, under the title Més aixeta i menys plàstic, which drives the water company, Amjasa and thus contributes to reduce the use of plastic.

In each neighborhood 600 bottles will be delivered free of charge to those who demonstrate their commitment to recycling with a symbolic gesture: carrying three bottles or plastic bottles that will be deposited in a selective container.

Chulvi has stressed that water is an increasingly scarce commodity and as such must be managed and consumed responsibly. The campaign highlights that drinking from the tap is comfortable, economical and ecological, since it neither consumes fossil fuels nor generates containers that increase cross-contamination and urban solid waste.

In addition to the glass bottles to fill and drink at home, Amjasa will once again put the public fountains into service, involve the schools and institutes and try to involve the local hospitality industry to provide free tap water to its customers (it is shuffled) provide them with some type of jar also labeled).

The initiative would be better if all the neighbors and taxpayers of Xàbia had a supply of Amjasa. I can fill one of the bottles distributed with the water from my house, from wells, to see if our mayor and councilors promote the consumption of non-potable water. I think the priority would be to ensure that all the neighbors have amjasa water, not to throw away the money in initiatives that do not ensure a minimum of public health.
