Of the 138.336 euros of profit that the 2011 exercise left, the accounts of Amjasa 2012 has been completed with 707.083 euros, results that confirm a change in trend in the public water company, as reflected in the General Meeting held on Monday in Xàbia.
From Amjasa attribute this success to the best exploitation of its resources, mainly desalination plant, with an increase of 5'6% of water sales to subscribers (representing 380.617 euros in turnover), an increase of 29% in the sale of water to towns such as Gata de Gorgos and Benitachell and 61% increase in billing services for new contracts and better management of the collection.
At the General Meeting the results of the first quarter of 2013 were also presented. José Luís Henarejos, CEO of Amjasa, portends similar to those of the same period in 2012 partial results: an increase in sales of 4'60% (which translates into 66.717 euros) and a decrease in 17'80% new high compared to the first quarter last year.
The Virtual Customer Service Office was also presented, included in the web portal in which the company will report its news and the incidents in the network. On this website, users can check their invoice history, compare their consumption, update data, request a registration, read their meter or notify a fault. This improvement was approved unanimously by the board members.
