The Department of Sports Javea Town Hall The term to enroll in the municipal sports schools for the academic year 3-2020 opens this week (from August 2021). Those interested should go to the Palau d'Esports customer service office (an appointment is required and can be booked by calling 96 579 20 00 or via email info.esports@ajxabia.org).
This basic sport program includes, as municipal sports schools, the initiation to badminton, mountain biking, futsal, paddle tennis, psychomotricity, psychosport, table tennis and rugby.
The registration period will be open until September 11 and places will be assigned in order of priority, depending on the date of registration.
The Municipal Sports Schools have a total cost of € 70 per season according to the current municipal fee ordinance and can be paid in single payment or in two four-month periods. From sports, it is noted that the program is conditioned to the current health crisis situation of COVID-19, and therefore it may be modified or adapted according to the orders issued by the competent administrations.
Also, students affected by the cancellation of activities last season due to the health crisis, will be rewarded with 35 euros.
From sports, they have prepared a brochure on all active base sports in Xàbia, which also offers information on the sports schools promoted by the different clubs and entities in the municipality.
The responsible councilman, Alberto Tur, points out that this program is considered one of the most important of those carried out in the municipality, both because of its meaning (as it is aimed at the child and youth population), and because of its contribution to a great educational task that is the creation of healthy and positive habits in life, marked by highly important values in the socialization process.
