Xàbia turns to the blessing of animals for San Antonio

This Sunday, one of the central events of the festivities in honor of San Antonio Abad, patron saint of animals, has been held in Xàbia; the cavalry parade and the blessing of animals, because these events were suspended on their dates due to the forecast of rain.

Festivity in honor of San Antonio

After the traditional parade, hundreds of neighbors went to the Plaza de la Constitución to bless their pets, presided over with the image of the Saint.
