Xàbia has commemorated today, March 8, International Women's Day, with the celebration of XII Curse of the Donut organized by the group of women of the Club Atletisme Llebeig and the department of equality of the Javea Town Hall.
Nearly a thousand people, of all ages, have participated in this non-comxicotetive race, 5 kilometers long, which in addition to giving visibility to the value of women, has a solidarity aspect, with which 5420 euros have been raised , thanks to the 960 registrations, the contribution of the number zero and a donation of massages Quirome.
This amount has been distributed equally between the two beneficiary regional associations this year, ADIMA and CARENA. In addition, the first three young runners and the first three in the 50 master have been awarded a trophy. There have also been prizes for the youngest and longest-running participants.
The day has been enlivened by the monitor Jana Martínez, with zumba class, on the running track, as well as the Colla Xirimitab's and the youth band during the tour.
