The Department of Education, Research, Culture and Sports has published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) the catalog of units corresponding to the public educational centers of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Primary and Secondary Education and Special Education, Ownership of the Generalitat.
After analyzing the needs of schooling, the Regional Ministry has modified the composition in certain public centers according to the schooling projections of the students of the mentioned levels
teaching. In the case of Xàbia, school units are maintained with respect to the previous year in all schools. In section 'a)', the units corresponding to the 2016-2017 course and in 'c)' are the units of the next course, 2017-2018.
La Councilor for Education, Montse Villaverde, Noted that "effectively, the classrooms are maintained, since in Xàbia you has reduced the ratio to 23 students per classroom, taking into account, from the Ministry, various factors such as the number of births corresponding to newly enrolled children ".
On the other hand, Villaverde has indicated that in addition to Trenc d'Alba school It has one more unit, which means that it has a course splitting, "The novelty is that this year, the Arenal school will also have a doubling, that is, with one more classroom, due to the school arrangement (educational planning proposal proposed by Education regarding the number of educational units for the next course ) ".
This new classroom of the Arenal school is not included in the unit catalog, as it is a proposal of the Ministry for this course according to the need for schooling.
