Xàbia is one of the 10 municipalities of the province of Alicante that in the next school year, the schools will count on a reduction of students in the classrooms of infantile education belonging to the children of 3 years. This has been published by the Ministry of Education, Research, Culture and Sport. An order that regulates the maximum number of students per classroom, unit or teacher in the centers supported by public funds.
As a consequence, the maximum number of students per school unit in the first level of the 2 cycle of Early Childhood Education (3 years) will be 23 students in a total of 30 municipalities throughout the Valencian Community, 10 in in the counties of Alicante, Four in Castellón and 16 in Valencia.
This student-teacher figure will be valid during the 9 courses following its implementation. Consequently, it will favor the students enrolled in these units until it reaches 6º of Primary.
