The Historic Center of Xàbia will be filled with color, masks and music throughout the afternoon-night of this coming Saturday with the celebration of the Carnival. Both the little ones and the adults will have the opportunity to be someone else this weekend. Hidden behind a new mask or costume, the participants will walk the streets of Xàbia Histórica.
The parades, organized by the council of Fiestas de Xàbia, in collaboration with the Commission of Fogueres, will begin in the afternoon. In the first place, at the 17 hours, the children's parade will start from the Plaza de la Constitución, which will take a tour of: Carrer del Oms, Placeta del Convent, Calle Mayor, Carrer Llotgeta, Carrer Roques, Ronda Norte, Principe de Asturias, Carrer Bonaire and it will end again in Plaza Constitución where there will be an entertainment show in charge of Colors Band Inside the tent installed by Fiestas.
At night, at the 23 hours, there will be the parade for adults and the costume contest with 300 euros in prizes: 50 in individual category, 100 for the best couple and 150 in group costume. The inscription to the contest will be able to realize until the 22: 30 hours in the place of beginning. The concentration of participants will be in the Placeta del Convent and the parade will go round Ronda Colón, Ronda Sur, Ronda Norte, Principe de Asturias and Bonaire until the Plaza de la Constitución, where the performance of the Orchestra will open the night Diamonds and a mobile phone will follow in the installed tent.
