Next Saturday, April 13, a new gastronomic event opens in the Municipal Mercat de Xàbia, Mercatap. After its last edition a few years ago, the evening atmosphere returns to the surroundings of the market in the historic center of Xàbia.
From the 19 hours, the doors of the Mercatap they will open to the public with a wide gastronomic, musical and playful offer where there will be children's entertainment, workshops and inflatables for children in the Plaza Celestino Pons.
With the aim of making known and tasting the fresh and top-quality product that Mercat's sellers offer day by day, each participant will prepare a specific number of tapas so that all those who come to this event can taste the tapas a price of from 2 euros and the consumption will be 1,5 euros.
At Mercatap Participants will include: Mut Butcher, Charcutería Bartolomé, Bar La Paraeta, Frozen Juan, Mercat Bar, Poster of fishermen, My Niet @ s Argentine pastry, Rogets Bar & Shop (which will open in the market in the coming days), and a stand of Moroccan cuisine
This festive day that will last until midnight will be completed with live musical performances. In the coming days will be announced the full schedule of groups that will act and the specific covers offered by each of the posts.
