The second day of Mar de Jávea exceeds expectations: this was Saturday's festival

31 March 2024 - 03: 00

The second day of the Mar de Jávea Festival was a complete success. Hundreds of people were not afraid of the weather and entered the Fontana venue to vibrate with the best pop music of now and ever. The light rain that fell early in the afternoon coinciding with the opening of the doors did not prevent the artists and the public from throwing in the towel.

Mar de Jávea made the audience vibrate with the well-known songs of each group that made up the poster for this day and that were chanted. The first to go on stage and not fear the sky was the Xàbia group TOXIC. Marta, Cristóbal, Ramón and Carlos Puig sang some of their rock songs.

Melocos was the group that continued with the party. The songs 'When I go' or 'When the sun shines' were some of those that continued to fill the good atmosphere of the festival with energy. Depol followed with the joy of the lyrics of 'Que Bonita' and 'De Fiesta'.

Late into the night and with the rain truce, the Murcians from Maldita Nerea arrived. Their renowned songs were danced, sung and chanted by everyone. Jorge Ruiz made the audience vibrate with all his songs, including 'The Secret of the Turtles' or Couldn't You Be Water?

And the final touch of the Festival was given by Taburete. The Madrid group began its 2024 tour in Mar de Jávea. His delivery was maximum. 'Sirenas', '5 Senses', 'Roto y Elegant' and 'A casa de dron' were songs that were not missing in this concert, "which is already special, as always happens with the first concerts on tour," said the singer. of Taburete during his performance.

We must not forget that between concert and concert the DJs performed: Lomas, Ardiya and Chimeno, who were in charge of encouraging the attendees to the maximum. After the success of this first edition, it seems that Mar de Jávea is here to stay.

CONGRATULATIONS, great festival, we had a great time. A shame to read so many bitter people.

  2. Teresa says:

Thank the City Council for making my life this Holy Week hell. As a resident of Javea (and born in this land that I consider my home) I cannot be more saddened by the drift of senselessness of this City Council. What kind of City Council puts the economic interests of a few ahead of the well-being of the majority?
Madam Mayor; He is leading us into the abyss, and you are at the helm.

  3. Adrian Arcas says:

    Amazing festival!

  4. Francis Borgia says:

LONG LIVE THE SEA OF JAVEA ❤️

  5. Javier says:

My most sincere congratulations and thanks to the city council and organizers of the festival. Thank you very much for being able to bring this type of shows ❤️

  6. Ximo Sendra says:

As an attendee of the festival and a resident of Xabia (first residence) I can only congratulate the city council if they are the organizers. It has been an incredible festival! LONG LIVE THE SEA OF JÁVEA

  7. Neighbor says:

It is incredible that the city council allows these shows in the middle of the urban center.
We have an enclosure in such a beautiful area, the end of the Canal, totally wild that throughout the year it is used for the dogs to do their business and as a culmination we have thunderous noise festivals.

  8. barts people says:

Another nail in the coffin, RIP Javea. Who has seen and who sees you.

  9. Tom says:

The noise of the festival is also irritatingly noticeable in our house, about 5 km from the stage. It even drowned out the strong wind. I have to think damn if there was no wind, then the knocking is even more noticeable.
The decibels are far exceeded, to understand why this is allowed.
Montgo rock will be another sound drama like last year, or the volume will be limited to an acceptable level.

  10. Asuncion says:

I don't know if the expectations were exceeded, but the decibels in my house were exceeded. I live in the urbanization that borders the festival, and what a sleepless festival they have given us.
I guess the mayor doesn't live nearby, right?

  11. pepe buigues says:

Many thanks to the city council for promoting these types of events. As a resident and registered in Jávea I can say that it was an event out of 10. Long live the sea of Jávea

  12. No res i avant says:

If what this city council wants is for people who come to spend a few days of tranquility to end up fleeing Javea, Bravo, they are achieving it. My goodness, how clumsy this town council is, they don't realize that the people who come to Javea are for its coves, its landscape, etc.

  13. Marcos Ortiz says:

Bravo for the Festival, it is from time to time, as long as they leave everything clean afterwards.

  14. Fed up neighbor says:

There is no right to subject neighbors to this chaos and this volume of noise until late hours. It seems like there is no other way to pass the time if not with chun chun, alcohol and drugs. But this is what, unfortunately, the City Councils that we are suffering encourage. We neighbors are tired of so much partying in the street and those who come to spend their days of rest want that, rest, not to be screwed with the noise for the three days that they come. Gentlemen of the City Council, PLEASE! Normal people want to enjoy Jávea, not from noise, not from so many "festivals of whatever", not so many discomobiles, not from little music everywhere, not from "singers" partying on the promenades all summer long, PLEASE!

  15. NEIGHBORS OF THE ARENAL BEACH IN JÁVEA says:

It's a shame that the noise pollution law continues to be ignored in this type of shows that everyone could enjoy in the right place and not ten meters from homes and on an avenue full of houses. The music could be heard even in the old town, is there any municipal control of the decibels? What interests does the council have in celebrating this type of events for private companies? Both the Montgorock and Mar de Jávea should be held elsewhere.

    • Jesus says:

I am already old and I am not going to go to those events but it seems good to me that concerts are held and that there is life.
I have been in Jávea since 2010 and now that I am retired I have been here for more months and I see that in general life is going less, well if someone has the initiative to do things then go ahead.
I live in El Arpenal and it didn't bother me at all, I could hear it if I went out to the terrace, but at home with good acoustic insulation there is no problem.
Once the money is spent, there are glass companies that are willing to work, instead of protesting about everything.
