Three new exhibitions fill the municipal art rooms of Xàbia

Three new exhibitions open the calendar of exhibitions for this month of October and that can be visited until November 17 and 18. Based on science, the Lambert Center for the Arts and Casa del Cable will be the scenarios that will host the content of each of them from this Friday, October 19 and in which visits will be arranged with the different educational centers, as indicated by the Councilor for Culture, Quico Moragues.

The Lambert Arts Center, Ca Lambert, located in the main street, will host the exhibition The sea of ​​Ciències, a work of the Network of Valencian Universities for the promotion of Research, Development and Innovation (RUVID) to bring to the general public in a didactic and visual way certain scientific-technological aspects related to the marine world and, especially, the Mediterranean Sea.

The other scientific proposal comes from the hand of the Disclosure Association Meridià Zero, that next to Soler Blasco Museum, will exhibit at the Casa del Cable, a journey through the history of the telegraph, its devices and philately. This activity is linked to a talk and workshop.

The director of the Telecomunicació Museum of the Polytechnic University, Carmen Bachiller, will be in charge of making, the 26 of October, at the 20 hours, the talk about the first telecommunication systems. The didactic workshop on telegraphy by Pepe Pedro, a secondary school teacher, will be the 27 of October at 11 hours.

In addition, the Casa del Cable will exhibit Javier Barco's painting. Under the title mediterrània, the artist presents works inspired by places on the coast of Xàbia as the Cala Blanca, Cap Prim, Portitxol or Cala Granadella.
