Xàbia already has everything under control to receive Their Majesties the Three Wise Men of the East on January 5. But first, the Department of Festivals, together with the Commission of Reis and the Commission of Festes of the Mare de Déu of Loreto, have prepared various activities as a prelude to the great arrival of Melchior, Gaspar and Baltasar.
This Tuesday, January 2, the royal emissaries, blue, red and green, will visit the Duanes neighborhood to pick up the cards for boys and girls, will begin at 17:00 p.m. in the Parish of Our Lady of Loreto. The Loreto Festival Committee will offer a chocolate for all attendees.
El Wednesday the 3rd and Thursday the 4th, the boys and girls of Xàbia will be able to approach the Royal Camp in the Riurau d'Arnauda, where you can travel to past times through trades such as: carpenter, blacksmith or baker. In addition, there will be workshops on traditional crafts such as clay, palm and macramé.
At the camp there will be the Royal Emissaries who will collect the letters from all the children, who will also be able to take a photo next to the royal camel that has come to Xàbia from the Far East.
The Royal Camp will be open from 16:00 p.m. to 21:00 p.m. on January 3 and 4, and will have bar service for snacks and dinners at popular prices.
Moreover, Friday the 5th, Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar will disembark at the port at 17:00 p.m. After greeting all the boys and girls, they will get on the floats and the parade will begin that will travel through the streets of Duanes and the Historic Center.
