The second-hand store The Original Charity Shop & Library of Jávea has delivered, to the Department of Equality, a check worth 1230 euros to be invested in a program of care for recovery
of victims of gender violence. Also, the charitable group has donated an equal amount to the school Raquel Payá de Dénia.
The funds were collected by The Charity in the form of solidarity sponsorships through a group of volunteers who participated in the Mirador Challenge.
Councilwoman Equality, Montse Villaverde, he has thanked this new collaboration of this charity group with his department and especially the victims of gender violence. Villaverde recalled that this year had already contributed to the support of these women with another donation of 650 euros achieved with their sales on Women's Day.
