Tuesday's first training session contemplated within the Municipal Plan for Forest Fire Prevention took place. An information day through an explanatory statement on the performance of fire in a forest and fire training in practicality.
From yesterday until next May 25, these different days will be held to train, above all, residents in forest areas. The first meeting took place at the Ermita del Popul. This training, which aims to provide information and prevention against the possibility of a fire in the areas of greatest risk, such as urbanizations.
The sessions will continue today Wednesday the 10th at the Balcón al Mar volunteer fire station. Later, on Thursday the 18th they will be in the Pinosol recreational area, on Friday the 19th in the Rafalet recreational area and on Thursday the 25th in the Tossalet green area (in Azores street). All meetings will be at 10 a.m. The workshops are given by specialist forestry technicians from the Medi XXI GSA team, a company contracted by the Town hall to carry out the Prevention Plan.
