Last Sunday, February 19, a charity trail was organized at the Placeta del Convent de Xàbia in favor of Càritas organized by the Montgó Gastronomic Association and the Club d'Escacs in which a total of 18 seats participated.
Thanks to the collaboration of people purchasing items and participation in activities and workshops, they managed to raise a total of 600 euros. The money was partitioned between Caritas and Caritas port town.
Among the contributors were parish Caritas the town and port, Red Cross, APASA, aphid Xàbia, the Festival Committee of Loreto and Fogueres of Sant Joan, the Asociation Cancer Care Charity shop, as well as various shops in the town.
The attending public could enjoy different activities organized by the Association, such as a workshop for the preparation of homemade cocas, a ham cutting workshop, a wine tasting workshop, a masterclass Pilates and playroom for children.
In addition, a number of prizes provided by various collaborating companies, including a trip round Formentera with Balearia, a spa session at the La Sella Golf and articles Hop Ale, Rolser and Asevi were raffled.
The organizers are grateful to Javea Town Hall their collaboration, as well as all the sponsors provided by articles, and everyone who dared to participate in the event.
