The Duanes de la Mar festivities in honor of the Mare de Déu de Loreto are characterized by the traditional celebration of the Bous a la Mar. These events are held, this 2022, from Wednesday, August 31 to Monday, September 5 and include bullfighting sessions, challenges between herds, exhibition of trimmers and the big shit.

12:00 hours. BOUS A LA MAR with the BENAVENT ranch and inauguration of the world-renowned BARET DELS BOUS in its 2022 season.
19:00 hours BOUS to sea with ELS COVES livestock.
Thursday September 1
12:00 hours BOUS to sea with livestock DOVE.
19:00 hours BOUS A LA MAR with the LA HERMANDAD ranch.
23:30 hours. BOUS AL CARRER in the Port area. FIRST BIG NIGHT OF THE IV EDU MONFORT GASENT CHALLENGE. The HERMANOS CALI and BENAVENT farms will compete with three cows and one bull each.
Friday September 2
12:00 hours Bous a la Mar with CRESPO livestock.
19:00 hours BOUS to sea with livestock DOVE.
23:30 hours. BOUS AL CARRER in the Port area. TRIMMER EXHIBITION. Next, he releases two cows for the most bullfighters of the ELS COVES ranch.
Sunday September 4
11:30 hours Fun parade of the Peñas Marineras until arriving at the Taurino Campus to join us in a new session of Bous a la Mar and Baret dels Bous.
12:00 hours Bous a la Mar with CRESPO livestock.
19:00 hours BOUS A LA MAR with the HERMANOS CALI livestock.
23:30 hours BOUS AL CARRER in the Port area. SECOND GREAT NIGHT OF THE IV EDU MONFORT GASENT CHALLENGE. The herds LA PALOMA, ELS COVES, LA HERMANDAD and CRESPO will compete with two cows each.
Monday September 5
10:00 hours X Gran Cagada organized by Peña La Bufa in the Bullfighting Venue with popular lunch for all attendees. The prize will be awarded to the winner during the afternoon bullfighting session at the Baret dels Bous.
12:00 hours BOUS to sea with ELS COVES livestock.
19:00 hours BOUS A LA MAR with the BENAVENT ranch. Then, a grand finale of the bullfighting performances and CLOSURE of the mythical BARET DE BOUS A LA MAR at the end of the season.
If you remove this celebration, many people from the surroundings will stop going to your town every day to spend money on lunch, lunch, snacks, dinner and spending the night in the different places in the town... Enough of mistreating animals. It seems incredible that Jávea still carries out these barbaric acts and has not evolved to create parties in which all people of all ages can participate and without having to make animals suffer.
