Today in the festivities in honor of Jesús Nazareno that are celebrated in Xàbia is dedicated to children. During the morning there will be different activities in the Plaza de la Constitución and in the afternoon the parade to visit the traditional May Crosses made with flowers stands out.
The program of events for this Sunday is as follows:
8:30 hours.- “Despertà amb dolçaina i tabalet” that will run through the streets of the town. Then in the Plaza de la Constitución, sandwiches with products offered by Mas y Mas. Immediately afterwards, opening of a playground and carriages of the Penya El Tirasset. There will also be a raffle of several carved wooden sculptures by local artist Miguel Ángel Miguel who will make "in situ".
9:30 hours.- “Despertà” at Customs with the Colla del Grup de Danses Portitxol
11:30 hours.- Professional Valencian ball game "d'escala i corda" in the trinquet
13:30 hours.- Giant paella in Parque Montaner
19:00 hours.- Triduum to Jesús Nazareno in suffrage of Ramona Fernández de Palencia Selva.
20:00 hours.- Parade with "dolçaina i tabalet" to visit the crosses and shop windows with the Brotherhood and the authorities.
