2020 parties suspended
All the acts of the Festivities in honor of the Virgin of Loreto have been suspended as a health prevention measure in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. The parties will be held in 2021, but in order not to lose customs, the Festival Committee has organized a symbolic program to celebrate, from home, the 2020 parties.

After the solidarity demonstration on August 18 with the Extraordinary Blood Donation, the acts will begin on Thursday August 27 with the Novena in honor of the Virgin in the parish church (at 20:30 p.m., the first two days and at 20 p.m. the rest of the days) until Friday, September 4.

The days 6, 7 and 8 the traditional ringing of bells will take place and, on this occasion, the symbolism of the ringing on the 6th it will acquire a different look since it will be dedicated to all essential health personnel, workers, groups and individuals that, throughout the confinement, de-escalation and at the current moment of the pandemic; they have been and are at the service of the welfare and safety of the citizenry. A gesture in homage to all these people who seek to regain the meaning of those daily applause that now seems so far away.
El Monday 7 of September, in addition to the morning turn, the Eucharist in honor of the Santísimo Cristo del Mar in the parish temple at 20:XNUMX p.m. For his part, July 8, big day of the holidays, the turn will be accompanied by the flying rocket fire from a fixed point of Customs. The solemn Eucharist in honor of the Mare de Déu de Loreto will take place at 12 noon as usual and, at dusk, the symbolic acts of this 2020 edition will be dismissed with a thunder of fireworks and the 125th anniversary will be welcomed. of the parties that, we hope, can be a very participatory reality.
Likewise, the Commission wants to emphasize the importance of following the indications and security measures in force in the current health regulations. Therefore, in all celebrations that involve certain social contact, the correct use of a mask and hand washing with hydroalcoholic gel will be mandatory. Also, maintain interpersonal distance and do not form huddles or agglomerations. It is highly recommended to wash your hands with soap and water before attending the events.
