All the Moors and Christians festivities de Jávea is about to start and one of its protagonists is Captain Mora, Mónica Gómez Leal. It has 21 years being, precisely, the youngest component of the filà "Xìbia" formed in its entirety by women.
She is a true connoisseur of the party since she has lived intensely since she was a child, she belongs to the 10 year and has held the position of flag bearer, so when she was nominated as captain she did not even think about it and she answered affirmatively.
How are you living the hours before the start of the holidays?tas?
There are few hours left and I'm noticing that, as tomorrow approaches, nerves are growing, but this I think is something very normal not only in the positions but also among all the festeros.
What do you like the Moors and Cristiyears?
Especially the gala parade with ostentation and costumes that take the filaes. Another of the acts that I like is the landing which is very nice and emotional.
What do you think of Alardo?
Okay, I am a person who likes a lot of rockets and the smell of gunpowder in the air feels, is a sign that has come the Moors and the truth is that I like it.
The music is an important part of the party?
Of course, it is essential this party without music would make no sense. I love to listen to different marches and Pasadobles but I'm as good dwells prefer the sound of marches blackberries. I hear them from very small and whenever I hear my skin crawls.
What the Moors and Christians of Xábia are differences with the rest of the region?
This is a family celebration, we know absolutely have all created a large family in which there is no friction or jealousy. We brought all well and I think this is our own hallmark over others.
Can you advance some of the pageantry that will you get?
I say only that you will love. It's a different pageantry, it will not be the usual typical pageantry that looks just tell you that you will like very much. The rest is surprise and the day of the parade neighbors will not remain indifferent. I will not forward any more because it's a secret.
How are you doing with the flaggers?
Great, I knew for a long time and we get along well. I'm sure we'll have a great time during the holidays.
And with the president of the Board of Festes?
Also very good it is as if our father cares for us really well and always takes care of us. We usually quite calm in the acts we go.
What would you say to the residents of Jávea and the whole region?
He invited them to participate with us in this great celebration. Although not belong to it is a very nice party to see. All Filaes will receive them with open arms.
