Thousands offerings of flowers to San Juan

The offering of flowers to San Juan de Jávea met Saturday afternoon thousands of people who conducted the extensive tour of the city to finish at the foot of the statue of the saint, installed in the Plaza de la Iglesia.

Minutes after 19 hours the first people left in the parade from the Plaza de la Marina Alta. People of all ages who have formed or are part of the Fogueres party took the opportunity to pay tribute to the saint, making a tapestry of flowers organized by the "La Patxorra" club. The queens of this year, Olivia and Ángela, with their respective courts of honor closed the parade, which did not miss the members of the Quintà 2013, the children's and youth commissions and their presidents.

After the offering, the play "Tú uno y yo dos, by the Casa de Andalucía de Jávea, and a Dansà Popular at Carrer Nou with the Grup de Danses Portitxol took place. The evening ended with the concert of the Costa de Orchestra Valencia.
