The riurau d'Arnauda was once again the scene of the successful celebration of the Mig Any of Fogueres Xàbia. More than 700 people gathered in this space to enjoy the day of coexistence and participate in the paella comxicotetion.
From 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, more than 60 groups of friends arrived at Montaner Park to prepare their succulent paella. There were all kinds of specialties: Valencian, mixed, vegetable: but only one won first prize.
This year, in the second edition of this paella contest by Mig Any of the Fogueres de Sant Joan Festival, the jury chose the best paella made by the Penya El Cabasset. A meat and vegetable paella with the main ingredients: pepper, beans, artichokes, olive oil, traditional minced garlic, parsley, ñora and tomato, chicken, ribs and secret. But the secret of success was "made with a lot of love," added the members of the club.
Fun and a good atmosphere were what marked this day of brotherhood between clubs, friends and families. The party continued into the evening with a performance by 'La Mocha' and music by Aibax & BUP and the DJs.
