The Moors i Cristians de Xàbia festival will begin the 2024 edition with the celebration of the Mig Any Fester on February 16 and 17.
The Festival Board has decided to maintain last year's programming - when the celebration was structured in
two days instead of one as was usual - and which had a great participation, not only of revelers and
festive, but also public.
Thus, the viernes 16, Duanes de la Mar will once again resound to the rhythm of the Moorish and Christian marches with an encore that will take place at 20:00 p.m. Unlike 2023, the route of this one will be larger, linking emblematic points of the Gala Parades such as the Pío
El Saturday 17, the day will start strong with a brotherhood lunch for all the members of the filaes and will continue with more music and rhythm with an entreeta at 12:30 p.m. On this occasion, the chosen route will run through some of the most important roads in Duanes such as Cristo del Mar Street and Jaime I Avenue.
Subsequently, attention will focus on the Carrasco salons where the traditional Gala Lunch will take place
with authorities and other guests. In it, the solemn act of Proclamation of the Mora and Cristiana Flagships 2024 and the formal Presentation of the Captaincy of this year will take place.
