The Bonfires Chess Tournament held in Xàbia chess players; Jesús López Jurado, Juan León Vaccaroni, Lucas Aquino, Gurgen Sargsyan and José Aquino winners in each of their respective categories.
The tournament was divided into five different categories: Pre youngest son, Benjamin, Youngsters, Kids + Cadete and Mamas Papas.
Pre category youngest children have participated 12, 2005 born in the year and later.
The three best classified have been the following: Gurgen Sargsyan who added 5 points, this player came from Alfás del Pí. The second place went to Luka López from Vicente Tena school from Xàbia that added 3.5 points, the same as José Peral, also from that same school.
Benjamin category participated in 13 children born in the years 2003 and 2004.
The winners were: Lucas Aquino with 5 points Alfas del Pi, Jouke Duller with 4 of La Nucía and Marc Roselló, with 3.5 points of Vicente Tena.
Youngsters participated in category 13 children born in the years 2001 and 2002.
Ranking the first three fuer; Juan Vaccaroni with 4.5 points Alfas del Pi, Andrés García, 4 points with Valencia and Sebastía Morant Vicente Tena 3.5 points.
+ Cadete Infantil category in 19 children participated and the final classification was as follows; Jesús López with 4.5 IES. A. Llidó the same as Andrés Felipe Daza, also of IES. A. Llidó and third place went to Héctor Cruañez with 4 points of IES. No. 1 of Javea.
In the category of Mamas and Papas 9 players took part. The final ranking was led by José Aquino with 4.5 points Alfas del Pi, followed by Ramón García with 4 points Xábia, being third, Juan Mª. Vaccaroni Alfas del Pi with 3 points.
At the end of the tournament the participants received their deserved trophies hand Major Regina Fogueres 2012 Angela Cholbi Mulet, the Councilman Festival Xàbia Juan Ortolá Bas and President of the EC Xàbia, Antonio Bisquert.
