The sport of canoeing reaches Jávea with great force, as the Canoeing Club of Jávea has prepared the celebration of the "I Surfsky Championship". The test will be held this Sunday and will take place in the waters of the Grava beach.
This championship is framed within the activities of the Festival del Mar will charge prominence throughout the weekend in Duanes de la Mar.
The test is surfsky or sea kayak and is scoring in the Mediterranean league, and two categories have been created K1 and K2 Surfsky and Traditional.
The output for the traditional category will be at 10 in the morning while the output for the categories of Senior and Veterans will be at 11`30.
The organization expects a large participation on some 120 paddlers between men and women. The implication of the Jávea Canoe Club is total, since one of its main objectives is to make known this sport that has so much roots in many populations of the Mediterranean coast.
Friday and Saturday will display this sport as well as practical demonstrations.
