Halfway through the Fogueres de Sant Joan 2023 festivities in Xàbia, hundreds of people take to the streets to celebrate the traditional and long-awaited Day of Thursdays. Fun, music, joy and reunion for all ages is the essence of this day.
From early in the morning, the participation of the fifths is active. A full day that begins with breakfast or lunch, lunch, afternoon and even, there are those who come to dinner.
Both for the youngest and for the veterans, Quintaes Day in Xàbia is special, a day of coexistence that many look forward to and with enthusiasm throughout the year. The reunion with the fifths themselves is a unique moment. Conversations, laughter and dancing are the main course of this day.
As usual, although not all the quintadas participate, at noon the vintage parade is held to the bullfighting area where popular and aquatic games complement the festive day.
