The rows of Moros i Cristians de Xàbia offer Sant Jaume with flowers and food

Moorish and Christian troops toured the streets of Aduanas de la Mar on Wednesday afternoon until arriving at the Parish of Our Lady of Loreto to celebrate the offering of flowers to San Jaime.

12 filaes accompanied by the various festive groups of Xàbia, they placed their flowers inside the Church as well as the food they carried that were destined for Caritas for the families most in need of the parish.

The act was concluded by the representatives of the Moors and Christians festivities Xàbia 2019, the Moorish captain of the Filà Almoradins, Emilio Bañuls and the mora and Christian flag-bearers, Laura and Lorena.

Starting today, the festivities take to the streets with the recreation of the struggle between Moors and Christians with the acts of disembarkation, Moorish embassy and reconquest.

It should be noted that during the morning of Wednesday, members of Caritas and representatives of the filaes were in the supermarkets of Duanes de la Mar in the collection of non-perishable food for families in need.
