One of the most eagerly awaited by the residents and neighbors of Javea and by large numbers of visitors, celebrations are parties Duanes de la Mar in honor of the Virgin of Loreto. José Erades, a member of the Festival Committee of Loreto Mare de Deu has ensured that the holidays are full of festive, cultural, sports and religious for all audiences and ages acts. He has also stated that there will be a couple of new features like a wine tasting and a photo comxicotetion whose theme will be exclusively the holidays. Juanjo García, Chairman of the Festival Committee of Loreto Mare de Deu, wanted to mark the first event to be held on August 20, the II Marathon Blood Donation in memory of Dionís Henarejos. He also also wanted to invite everyone to participate in these important holidays in our town and to thank all seaworthy clubs for their great collaboration.
Although the bous a la mar have always created a special expectation at these festivities, this year the spotlight is on the pyromusical fireworks display due to the refusal by the ports to hold it.
