The Jesús Nazareno brotherhood, after informing the decision to the Mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, has made the decision to cancel the festivities planned in honor of Jesús Nazareno for this 2020.
The health crisis caused by the expansion of COVID-19 has led to this difficult decision, but responsible and consistent with the current situation.
The Brotherhood regrets the inconvenience it may cause to third parties but, "We want to reiterate our commitment to people's health and, above all, our willingness to follow all the recommendations that come from the town hall and the health authorities in relation to COVID-19", indicate from the brotherhood.
In this way, the festive events that take place from the end of April to May 3, as well as the descent procession of the Nazarene are canceled this year.
