The Xàbia Housewives Association held its annual assembly which was attended by about 150 associates. In the act that took place in the House of Culture took stock of the recently ended year.
It was emphasized that it had fully complied with the program of activities that had been made. On the economic balance there was a surplus of EUR 3.424,09 because there was an item of income of 147.323,90 euros. While on the expenditure side they were reflected 143.899,31 euros.
Activities for 2016
They were released the activities undertaken during this year. They start them this month with a trip to Alicante to see the comedy "Taxi"Starring Josema Yuste and Felisuco.
In February, has scheduled a two-day trip to the town of Albacete Ayna, known as the "Switzerland Manchego"To celebrate the St. Valentine's day.
In March there will be an excursion to Palmar where you can take a boat ride on the Albufera. In April they will travel to Madrid to attend the musical "Cabaret". In May visit Murcia and June will arrive prom party where traditional paellas will be held at the Montaner park. After Fogueres parties will conduct a four-day trip to Amsterdam.
During the months of July and August holidays are taken to resume activities in September a five-day trip to the Rias Baixas. In October they will celebrate "Day Housewife"In the Pinosol Park.
In the final stretch of the year they have been planned for November a three-day trip by Avila and Segovia. In December they celebrate Christmas dinner with dancing in Carrasco salons.
This year the approximately 2.000 associated feature a variety of workshops that can perform, such as those of Fagoting, Embroidery in Tulle, Basic Sewing, Dressmaking two levels, IT, Gymnastics, Aerobics, Yoga, Sevillanas and dances lounge.
The Housewives also collaborate actively with local entities such as the Red Cross, Cáritas, Asociación Contra el Cáncer and with different councils of the Javea Town Hall.
