The Association of Housewives of Xàbia held, on Tuesday afternoon, its annual Assembly in the House of Culture before more than 150 associates. In this appointment, he realized the year of 2017 in which there was a positive balance of just over 1000 euros.
Among the figures obtained during the past year, the Association had close to 169.000 euros of income. Cultural activities and trips amounted to 123.715 euros, registration fees to 28.000 courses and municipal subsidy 7.000 euros.
With respect to the expenses section; in leisure activities and trips, 100.000 euros and the services provided by 30.000 professionals were paid, so that the total expenses amounted to 168.000 euros. The budget for this year is similar.
Candidacy for president
In this Assembly was open the application for the office of president, since the current Board of Directors with Isabel Nadal at the head had announced his retirement after eight years leading the group. No person was presented to the presidency, so one more year will follow Isabel Nadal with all his team.
2018 activities and courses
As every year, in the annual Assembly is announced activities and trips scheduled for the whole year where highlights for this 2018, the trip to Paris, assistance to theater plays, as well as the days of special celebration.

Later, in September, the national trip will be to Galicia, in October there will be two events, an afternoon of theater and the celebration of the Day of the Housewife in the Pinosol park. In November, the national weekend trip to Cuenca and the Christmas dinner at Restaurante Carrasco will be the one that closes the 2018 activities.
As for the courses scheduled for this year: Vainicas, Tulle Embroidery, Bobbin, White Stitching, Cutting Patterns, Cutting and Making, Patchwork, Zumba, Gymnastics, Aerobics, Pilates, Yoga, Sevillanas, Ballroom Dances, Latin Dances and Percussion .
