La Homemakers Association of Jávea It was established in April 1981 by concerns Jávea four women who wanted to fight for the rights of women. After 35 years since its inception, the Association has grown considerably, getting to have more than 2000 members.
The current president of the Association is Isabel Nadal, who took command after being elected in January 2010. Nadal maintained traditional activities, but due to the increase in new members in recent years, activities have been adapted and offering new possibilities of courses and activities. In his six years as president Isabel Nadal is the Association has changed, but still with the hope of carrying out new initiatives such as letting men also are part of the Association.
