A new vehicle, and it is already the seventh, hits the wall of a house in Xàbia

09 2024 April - 10: 21

Once again, the house that is located between Camí Cabanes and Travesía de Cansalades de Xàbia, in the urban center of Arenal, has once again suffered an impact. It is already the seventh accident in two years. On this occasion, the vehicle collided with the wall, destroying it, but it did not reach entering the garden as has already happened in previous accidents.

The homeowner asks for an immediate solution. He has made different writings requesting security measures, pedestrian crossings, etc., but the road is a provincial responsibility, "and the actions do not arrive. I want to reapply to town hall "That this fact be prioritized because I fear for the lives of my entire family."

Accidents usually occur during the tourist arrival season; Drivers who do not know the road, ignore the signs and lose control of the vehicle at this roundabout, leaving the road and hitting the wall of this private property. This accident occurred early last Thursday. It is unknown if there were any injuries. At the scene of the event, among the rubble of the collapsed wall, you can see remains of the damaged vehicle.

  1. María Victoria Mancebo Moreno says:

    Good morning,
I am a resident of the Cofitsa Urb. I have been submitting letters to the City Council both individually and on behalf of the Neighborhood Community for more than three years, including a complaint because a car crashed past the Iberdrola electric booth.
Due to the night races, ACCIDENTS, due to the poor condition of the Camí Cabanes roundabout with Haya Street (they decided to make an end of the world with the sidewalk since it does not reach the end), I have had to light my house so that they could cross the families WITH children returning from the circus, the mud that gets into the houses, requesting speed bumps and traffic lights because they cannot cross the damaged corner and so far they have only run to replace the indicator fence support and put cement globs on the signs .
Of course, to ask to put up a wall and protect our houses, you will see how they run to charge for licenses, fees and various other things.
Of the responses received, they are either ambiguous (as they are made up there) or non-existent.
Messrs. of the City Council: Jávea does NOT end at the perimeter of Arenal.

  2. Manuel Andres says:

In my opinion, seven accidents in two years is more than enough reason to take action…

    • Manu says:

If "taking action" means that someone from the City Council, or some friend, can get a curious pinch, then you can be sure that they will take action.

The thing about this useless world is to see where the ball is, even if it is small, many balls are a ball in the end.

They will look to fix this crossing disaster when they see clearly how to take it warm.
More than 30 years and everyone looking the other way, like thousands of things that happen in Jávea, everyone with a broken neck looking the other way.

They should give some talks about all this in the Auditorium, don't you think?
A disaster allowed by ALL OF US.

  3. Erika says:

This crossing has been dangerous for at least 30 years (if not more). And they continue without doing anything, even though the fault really lies with the drivers who run the stop sign and who, in addition, drive at an inappropriate speed. But it's not just bad driving there, the cars go along the Pla highway at dizzying speeds, also along Mediterranean Avenue and, of course, along many other streets or avenues. Is there a fine for speeding or is it simply not controlled?

    • Xabienc says:

A few days ago I requested that they place roundabouts or speed reduction banks on the Plá between the Supercor point and the roundabout at the height of the Fontana canal. It is the longest straight line in Jávea and large displacement motorcycles and cars reach speeds of more than 150 with a noise of more than one hundred decibels. which are easily heard on the Via Augusta and enter the surrounding homes. That is, total noise pollution and Cardona seems not to notice.

    • Jukian says:

There is a black Audi 4 that roams freely through the area at speeds that greatly exceed the limits of speed and noise. If I have seen it several times and I am not patrolling the surroundings, why has no one from the municipal, civil or national authorities seen it and reported it yet? (At least it seems that way)

    • Diary2030 says:

Of course, all of you always with prohibitions and controls. ? It would be better to design the road so that you cannot drive fast at all.

  4. Luis says:

But what exactly is happening? To collide like this, do 7 cars have to be speeding already? But what happens to the people?

  5. mariaaa says:

It is not difficult to understand. This "poorly designed and planned" means not designed or planned, and neglected like absolutely everything in Jávea; the state of the streets mainly. While we all continue paying like crazy to the government, highly penalizing rates.

  6. White flower says:

This crossing is deadly, we all know it all our lives.

The real problem is that no one seems to care, I mean ALL the politicians who cross the subject, who also know that this crossing is a total danger.

And politicians are passing through their positions and that is still there. The years go by and we all ask ourselves:

"But what piece of shit crossover is this?"

It doesn't surprise me at all, they have shown me, each one of them, that they are beings incapable of solving problems, they are only capable of generating them.

We have useless people running our lives, people we don't ask to be able to make the "o" with a joint.

There they are, taking advantage of all of us, every day, with their fat salary and holding their own balls.

WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM THEM?

    Nothing.

  7. James says:

What do you expect? That someone dies because of drivers who don't know how to drive? More control please, and not just in this place. Also in urbanizations there are many times drivers who think they are on an F1 track!

  8. mapixa says:

It would be time for the police to be present there. Vehicles coming from Benitachell almost never stop, even though there is a stop sign. As is often the case, I was lucky that no stopping vehicles hit my car. No, the drivers who don't stop keep pointing fingers……It would really be time to do police checks there, it would be very easy money…..
