Juan Carlos Ferrero Foundation's commitment for tennis and for everyone, so it has launched the project Street TennisKnown as tennis on the street. An event that will come to Xàbia, next December in 4 Arenal Beach of 11 to 13 hours.
The event, organized by the Foundation, has the support of Javea Town Hall, Jávea Tennis ClubAs well as the main sponsor of the project, the Higher Sports Council and the Spanish Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The conference is aimed at all children of the town and surrounding aged between 4 and 16 years. During the same numerous gifts they will be raffled among the participants.
Juan Olivert, director of the project, stressed that "This year we focus on a project that has spread to many cities, so the younger ones can enjoy great days of tennis". Olivert, noted that "Xàbia do in and with the support of the Academy Ferrer and Juan Carlos Ferrero Foundation guarantees success for the sole purpose of caring for children and teach them the learning and enthusiasm for the sport to younger children, who are the future".
The project has its integral part as it helps the Spanish Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to raise awareness of the struggle carried forward from the Federation. Cystic fibrosis is an inherited disease that causes disability and premature death. A multisystem disorder that causes the formation and accumulation of thick mucus in the lungs, intestines, pancreas and liver. It is considered one of the most common fatal hereditary diseases.
