This weekend the festival is celebrated in Jávea in honor of the patron of the animals, San Antonio de Abad, and will be organized by the Penya La Burrera and the Equestrian Activities Center "El Tiraset". As usual "El Tiraset" today will mount a monumental pine on San Antonio Street that will burn at 20: 30 h. Tomorrow Sunday will continue the tradition at 11: 30 h. with a parade of cavalries that will go from the street of the saint to the Plaza de la Constitución, place where at 13: 00 h. The blessing of the animals and the distribution of rolls and prints of San Antonio will take place.
The children of Jávea will also be able to enjoy the party since from tomorrow until the 2 day in February, the amusement fair that is held every year for this festivity will take place and will be located, as well as last year, in a municipal lot on Avenida Palmela. The 17 day in January, San Antonio day, the attractions will be available with a special discount and there will also be hot chocolate for all attendees.
