The Association of Friends of Museu de Xàbia -AMUX- will hold its Annual General Assembly next Wednesday, February 13, 2019, in the Museum's Conference Room. The first call will be at 18:30 p.m. and the second at 19:00 p.m.
In addition to this call, the group has started a campaign to attract new members, people who want to get involved in the constant activities carried out throughout the year and bring new energy to this multicultural and multilingual group.
The Association, among its tasks, tries to plan improvements for the Museum, translate the informative texts about the contents of the museum into English, French and German, organize some excursion or talk, help the archaeologists with their excavations and write brief articles on the AMUX activities for the website and for the local press. Also, a guided tour of the current excavation of the Rana area is planned for Friday 15 February at 11: 30 hours.
In addition, the Association collaborates with knowledge of information technologies to improve communications and accessibility of Museum information funds and shares ideas for the future development of AMUX.
Since the Association point out that many of its members do not spend all year in Xàbia and is perfectly compatible. "In AMUX there are many projects and ideas for projects, even if you are only here part of the year; And it is not necessary to be on the committee to be part of any of them ", point from the organization.
