The Association of Friends of the Museum of Xàbia continues to tour the Valencian Community in search of knowing the history of each of its corners. The last trip was to Concentaina.
A group of 40 people traveled to this Alicante city last Saturday to see the Condal Palace, a palace of Renaissance origin that has three towers, a Golden Room with a vault full of paintings from the XNUMXth century, and the Ambassadors Room.
The excursion continued through the old town and its wall that recalls its medieval period. The group from Xàbia also visited the hermitage of Santa Bárbara, considered a reconquest hermitage that dates back to the 14th century and is located on a hill. During the day they also visited the town.
Congratulations to the participants in this visit, I am sorry that I was not able to go, since the excursions that AMUX does are always very interesting.
