José Luis Gayà takes 500 photographs in Portal de la Marina and gets the challenge of donating 1.500 € to ADIMA

The footballer of Valencia and the Spanish National Team, also born in Pedreguer, José Luis Gayà, was on Wednesday, throughout the afternoon, at the Portal de la Marina Shopping Center. And all with one goal: to get 500 photos taken with their followers so that the shopping center will donate 1.500 euros to the Disabled Association of the Marina Alta (ADIMA).

For two hours, the footballer attended the thousands of people who waited to meet his idol and collaborate in the solidary challenge, which was exceeded minutes before the 20: 00 hours. At the end, ADIMA users took the stage to receive, from the director of the Shopping Center, Carlos Fita, a check worth 1.500 euros.

A solidarity day in which there was also an emotional moment of which Gayà was an accomplice: a massive request for a hand, that of Rubén to Héctor. Hector, who did not know anything, went on stage to take a picture with Gayà and was surprised by the speaker of the event, the announcer Sergio Dénia. On the screens a video was projected in which the voice of his partner was heard with images of his house. Then, in the central aisle of the Shopping Center, several friends of the couple began to dance a song by Bruno Mars to give way to Rubén, who with a bouquet of flowers approached the stage to ask for a marriage.

The emotion came to each and every one of the people who were waiting to take a picture with Gayà, and also to the many people who stopped to see what was happening there. Gayà handed Rubén the ring and when Héctor said "yes", heart-shaped balloons fell that melted with the applause and cries of affection from the audience to the protagonists of the moment.
