The Department of Fiestas de Jávea, in collaboration with Fogueres commission has organized the traditional party to celebrate the carnival, which will be on Saturday February 14 this year.
The program starts with the activities prepared for children. In the 17 hours there will be a costume parade from the Placeta del Convent ending in the Constitution Square where there is provided a pirate party. At night takes over the party designed for adults, with a parade of costumes from the Placeta del Convent will travel round the historic center to the Plaza of the Constitution.
There will be a performance of the orchestra La Viva, the costume contest prizes will be awarded and will close the evening one discomóvil with DJs Toni Bup, Pablo Gisbert and José David.
Registration for the contest will be made until 22'30 hours in the same place where the parade leaves. There will be a prize of 150 euros for the best group, 100 for the couple and 50 for the individual costume.
